Leis Pet Distributing is a privately owned company with our head office and a warehouse in southern Ontario, and a warehouse in Moncton, New Brunswick. We operate in Atlantic Canada as Atlantic Pet Distributing. As a full line distributor of pet food and accessories, we deliver to Independent Retail Pet Food Stores throughout Ontario and Atlantic Canada on a weekly basis. We have our own fleet of trucks, but some stores in remote areas may be serviced by common carriers.
We distribute a wide variety of products to specialized retailers such as pet shops, nutrition centers, grooming salons and veterinary clinics. Leis Pet Distributing and Atlantic Pet Distributing offer a wide range of products for pets, including food, treats, litter and accessories for dogs, cats, small animals and birds. We carry a full line of indoor and outdoor bird seeds.

Created by the Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA) and offered to qualified retailers, Pet Store Pro is a FREE online training tool for pet store owners, managers and sales associates. Training content for sales associates covers pet retail and cashier service basics, customer service and selling skills, merchandising techniques, customer loyalty programs, pet nutrition and in-store care for birds, dogs, cats, small animals, freshwater fish, saltwater fish, lizards, snakes and turtles and tortoises. Training for store managers teaches effective ways to lead and motivate, increase repeat customers, improve store performance and extend social media impact. The program now offers 30 associate and management-level chapters and remains 100-percent free, thanks to continued full funding by PIDA’s distributor members, of which Leis Pet Distributing Inc. is a member. Course content is fact-based, brand-neutral and applies to any pet retailer, whether or not the store sells live pets.
